Start small. Make it a routine.

How to get started with LifeCycle

You do not need to organize everything on day one. Add one responsibility, set its schedule, and use LifeCycle to keep its next date and history together.

An example: replacing a home air filter

From “when did I last do that?”
to a record you can check.

  1. 1

Start with one thing you look after

Choose a familiar routine, such as replacing an HVAC filter. In Home, organize it under its property, system, and asset. Add the component or consumable you want to track.

    Example workflow

Home → your property → heating and cooling → the unit → its filter

  2. 2

    Give it a schedule

Add the maintenance task, its interval, and the last completion date where applicable. Use your equipment’s instructions to choose a suitable interval. Select an alert profile in Settings to control advance notice.

    Example workflow

Your interval and completion history establish the next due date.

  3. 3

Review what is due and record the work

Check Planning for reminders inside your alert window. Open the item, review the task, and record the work when it is complete. Your history gives you a reference for the next cycle.

Review the reminder → complete the work → save the record

Add another section when you need it

Use Vehicle Service for maintenance, the Ledger for recurring bills, Clothes for rotation, and Travel for trip details. Each section keeps the records relevant to that part of your life.

Make a backup part of your routine

In Settings, choose Manual Complete Backup or enable daily/weekly Automatic Complete Backup in a selected local or compatible cloud folder. Complete ZIPs include records, app settings, and media; automatic backups keep three copies. Keep a copy outside your phone. Selected JSON exports do not replace a complete backup.
